Selection Requirements
- Type matching: Select the corresponding refrigeration oil according to the type of compressor, such as mineral oil for reciprocating compressors, ester oil (POE), alkyl benzene oil, etc. for frequency conversion compressors, screw compressors, etc..

- Viscosity matching: According to the working conditions of the equipment (such as working temperature, pressure) to choose the appropriate viscosity of the refrigeration oil, the viscosity should be compatible with the refrigerant, such as R22 refrigerant is usually matched with 46 viscosity of the refrigeration oil.

Precautions for Use
- Dosage control: Add according to the dosage specified in the equipment manual, too much will affect the efficiency of the compressor, too little may lead to poor lubrication.

- Avoid contamination: Keep the container clean during use, prevent water, dust and other impurities from mixing, otherwise it may cause compressor failure or refrigeration system blockage.

- Temperature requirements: Refrigeration oil storage and use of temperature should not be too low, so as not to increase the viscosity affect the fluidity; also need to avoid high temperatures leading to oil oxidation and deterioration.

- Compatible with refrigerant: Different refrigerants have different solubility characteristics of refrigeration oil, such as R32 refrigerant needs to be paired with special POE oil, which may affect the lubrication effect and system performance if mixed.

Replacement Points
- Regular replacement: According to the operation time and condition of the equipment, the refrigeration oil should be replaced regularly, generally it is recommended to replace the oil every 2-3 years or after 10,000-20,000 hours of operation, the specifications shall prevail.

- Timing of replacement: When the refrigeration oil is found to be dark, cloudy or smelly, it should be replaced in time, which may be a sign of oil aging or pollution.

- System cleaning: When replacing the refrigeration oil, the refrigeration system needs to be cleaned to remove the old oil and impurities left inside to ensure that the performance of the new oil is not affected.
